What You Will Master

Preparednessthat saves lives

Cardiac emergencies do not wait for paramedics. These are the core skills every participant practices before leaving the classroom.

01

Chain of Survival

The first few minutes of a cardiac emergency are the most critical. Early recognition, immediate CPR, rapid AED use, and advanced care form the chain that saves lives.

02

High-Quality Compressions

Learn proper hand placement, compression depth, and rate for adults and children. Quality compressions keep oxygenated blood flowing until professional help arrives.

03

AED Confidence

Automated External Defibrillators are designed for bystanders. You will practice pad placement, device operation, and coordinating with 911 dispatch.

04

Scene Safety First

Before you act, you assess. Training covers how to check the scene, protect yourself, and assign roles so one rescuer can call for help while another starts CPR.

05

Adult & Pediatric Differences

Children require different compression techniques and AED pad placement. Our instructors cover both so you are ready at home, at work, or in the community.

06

HSI-Certified Instruction

All courses are led by Health & Safety Institute certified instructors from our veteran and first-responder training team.
